Registration terms and processing of information

The Independence Party was founded on specific policy issues and views. One of the prerequisites of democracy is that free activity regarding political views is allowed to flourish. The party is concerned with informing party members about the party's policy and what is happening within the party at any given time. To that end, the party provides extensive information to its party members.

When registering for the group, only the information necessary for the group is collected, such as phone numbers and email addresses, for the purpose of the group being able to share information regarding the group's activities. The group's privacy policy stipulates the handling of this information and the policy is considered, among other things, the terms of registration for the group.

Access to personal information

Party members can request access to personal information that has been provided to the party or that the party has acquired.

A request for access to information is completed here.

Once the request has been received by the party, its receipt will be acknowledged and information provided on the next steps. A response will generally be received within 30 days of receipt of the request.
